About the Lollipop Saliva Test
The V-Chek™ COVID-19 Antigen Saliva Test is a lateral flow immunoassay intended for the qualitative detection of COVID-19 from saliva specimens directly collected from individuals within the first 7 days of suspected COVID-19 symptom onset.
This Rapid Antigen Test is to be used for self-testing at home or elsewhere.
Positive results indicate the presence of viral antigens and do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses. The agent detected may not be the definite cause of disease.
Negative results should be treated as presumptive only, and do not rule out COVID-19 infection. Negative results should be considered in the context of recent exposures, medical history, and the presence of symptoms consistent with COVID-19, and should be confirmed by your GP.

The test procedure
30 Minutes before you test
It’s very important that you refrain from eating, drinking, smoking or vaping, chewing gum or brushing your teeth for a minimum of
30 minutes before taking the test.

DO NOT CHEW GUM
DO NOT BRUSH YOUR TEETH
STEP 1
Once opened, move the lollipop swab back and forth in the front and sides of your mouth for 90 seconds so that the swab has absorbed a substantial amount of saliva.

STEP 3
Fit the lollipop swab into the test cassette and push it down until it “Clicks” into position. Then place the test onto a flat surface and wait for ten minutes.
